Robin again did a masterful job of creating a Cultural Exchange presentation that was both educational and interesting.  Rosemie gave a slide show of her talented daughter's series of sculptures and described in depth the meaning of and inspiration for a selection of her pieces. See more of her daughter's work here.  Robin followed with a presentation about her favorite artist, Joaquin Sorolla, with pictures from her visit to the Museo Sorolla in Madrid and his "Visions of Spain" murals from the Hispanic Society of America. Joann showed a charming Danish short film entitled "Make My Day".

Congratulations to new member Luisa for winning the raffle! And we were all glad to welcome former member Linda Z who came in from the West Coast to join us!

Members, families and friends gathered over snacks and drinks for the opening of the IWCB Member Art Exhibit on Saturday, November 7. The exhibit will be on display at the Brookline Public Library in Hunneman Hall, 2nd floor, through January 3, 2016. Be sure not to miss the additional two showcases of our talented members' works in the library's main reception area. Thank you to all the artists for participating and especially to organizers Nana, Eka and Ines for their dedication and countless hours of work to bring the exhibit to life. Also, a big thank you to Pauline for designing and donating the posters.
