Part One airs on Monday, July 6th at 9 p.m. Explores how the challenges facing the women's suffrage movement, including internal debates over radical tactics and the place of African American women in the movement, shaped the battle in the crucial period from 1906-1915.
Part Two airs on Tuesday, July 7th at 9 p.m. Explores the final four years, 1916-1920, of the campaign for the passage of the 19th amendment and meet some of the unsung women whose tireless work would finally ban discrimination at American polls on the basis of sex.
