Let’s watch a play and then talk about it! Gloria: A Life is a play that was at the ART in Cambridge last Spring depicting the fascinating life of Gloria Steinem and the “women’s lib” movement. Now there is a film of the play and it is premiering on PBS this Friday, June 26th at 9PM or view on PBS app. Act one focuses on Steinem’s life and path to activism. Act two consists of a “talking circle” with the audience to discuss the play’s themes, moderated by Gloria Steinem herself. We will discuss both the play and the movement as we remember it and as we feel about it today.
