Please join Lalitha and Ram for a talk on India followed by Q & A. In the last twenty years, India has become a global economic power. With a population of 1.3 billion and over half of those under the age of 25, India's presence in the world moving forward is likely to be impactful. Presiding over this change in the last 6 years is Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, a popular, charismatic yet controversial leader. In this talk, we will discuss the journey India has taken in the last 73 years after independence from the British, and the economic boom in the last 20 years and the issues facing India today and tomorrow.
