Join Eileen for a visit to the Boston Campus of the Museum of African American History , New England’s largest museum dedicated to preserving, conserving and interpreting the contributions of African Americans. 

Tour the African Meeting House the first of its kind in America and the oldest black church building in the country and the adjacent Abiel Smith School , the oldest building in the nation constructed for the sole purpose of housing a black public school. 

Admission:  Adults $5, Seniors $3

Lunch at Antonio's Cucina Italiana Restaurant at 288 Cambridge Street afterwards. Optional self- guided walk of Boston's Black Heritage Trail after lunch.

Please register by November 14.

Public Transportation:
Red or Green Line to Park St. Walk up Park toward the State House to Beacon St. Turn left onto Beacon and right onto Joy St. or take the Blue Line to Bowdoin St. Cross Cambridge St. Turn right and walk one block and turn left onto Joy St.
