Lalitha will be attending a Fundraising Dinner for Primary Source to support their mission of advancing global education in schools, a cause she strongly supports. She is extending an invitation to the IWCB members. If anyone is interested in joining her please email her so she can reserve a space for you at her table.

Please join the friends of Primary Source for a family-style Lebanese meal followed by a captivating performance of Middle Eastern music, both traditional and modern, by Mal Barsamian, one of the most gifted Armenian-American musicians working today. Mal is a master oud (lute) instructor and performer, and is currently an Applied Faculty member at New England Conservatory of Music and Tufts University. Mal is also an expert on clarinet, guitar, bouzouki, and dumbeg (drum). His wealth of knowledge spans many genres of Middle Eastern and classical music, and he enjoys sharing his enthusiasm and appreciation for these traditions. Mal will be accompanied by Mr. Bruce Gigarjian on guitar and drum. Come enjoy this informative and entertaining musical exploration of the Middle East!

Tickets: Please contact Lalitha or contact Judy Katz (Primary Source) at (617) 923-9933 ext. 118 or judy@primarysource.org to purchase tickets ($125 per person) or for more information.
