Policies and Disclaimer

Event Policy

Any Member can organize and lead an event. To include the event on the calendar and notify Membership, the organizer completes the event form and coordinates the planning with the Activities Officer.

RSVP Policy

As a courtesy to hosts and organizers, registration for events must be made no later than the stated deadline date.

Reservations are taken in the order received. In the event of overbooking, those concerned will be put on a waiting list and will be contacted by the person responsible for reservations. If cancellations are received, members on the waiting list will then be notified.

Cancellation Policy

Members are kindly asked to cancel as soon as possible if they are unable to attend an event for which they have registered. Such a courtesy will allow members and guests on the waiting list to participate.

Guest Policy

Members always have priority. Guests may attend IWCB private events accompanied by a Member, only when space permits. The Member is responsible for her guest.

It is the responsibility of the Member to inform the event’s organizer prior to bringing a guest.

Guests may attend a maximum 3 events. After the third occasion, it is expected that they join the IWCB.

IWCB Disclaimer

Members are reminded that participation in IWCB activities is entirely at the members’ own discretion and risk. Neither IWCB nor its representatives shall be held responsible for injury, damage, or loss incurred by participation in Club events held in Public or Private venues.

Modifications

We may amend these policies from time to time; please review them periodically. We will post those changes here so that you will always know what has been modified. Your continued use of the website after the date that such changes are posted will be deemed to be your agreement to the changes.
